Engraved Ruger Vaquero® in 45 Colt

               

This week's auction item is a high-gloss stainless Ruger Vaquero® .45 COLT caliber single-action revolver. Ruger's records reflect this revolver was roll marked April 20, 2012. The revolver was shipped to Automated Finishing in April 2012 to be engraved and returned that same month to the factory. This revolver was a Sales Sample, was never sold, and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. The revolver has a traditional western-style hand-filling grip with black checkered grip panels. Other features include a 5.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with blade front and integral notch rear sights. The 6-round cylinder is chambered in .45 COLT. The revolver has been stored in its original gray plastic handgun case along with an original instruction manual, marketing materials, internal lock keys, and locking device.

 

Hawkeye® African

               

Up for auction this week is a 450 Bushmaster Ruger Hawkeye® African rifle. Ruger's records reflect this rifle was roll marked May 2, 2024. This model Hawkeye African rifle is a current production item and was designed exclusively for Ruger Retailer of the Year, Randy's Hunting Center. This rifle was one of Ruger's Sales & Marketing photography samples, was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. The rifle features a 24-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with the traditional integral scope mounts that are machined directly on the solid-steel receiver. It has a shallow “express-style” windage-adjustable "V" notch rear sight and large white bead front sight. Other features include: the LC6™ trigger; a one-piece steel bolt based on the non-rotating Mauser-type controlled feed extractor; and three-position safety. It has a satin blued finish with an American walnut stock. The stock features an ebony forend cap, wrap-around cut checkering on the forearm and pistol grip, and studs for mounting sling swivels. It also features a red rubber buttpad with the Ruger Eagle logo embossed in the center of it. It has a hinged solid steel floorplate that features an engraved Ruger logo and a box magazine that holds four cartridges. The rifle will ship in its original rifle box along with a set of scope rings, original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.
